Labelexpo Europe – The fourth day
Traffic at Labelexpo'south endmost day has been rather calm, making it easier for visitors and exhibitors to wrap up loose ends and finetune decisions on investments and material purchases. Near of the visitors take really been sourcing ancillary devices, peculiarly converting and finishing equipment to extend their production lines or to venture into new businesses, such as shrink sleeves, standup pouches, and container lids.
Some of the converting mechanism, press, software, and consumables manufacturers had their largest Labelexpo presence e'er, such as AB Graphic, Bobst, Cartes, CERM, Codimag, Domino, Flintstone/Xeikon, Grafotronic, Heidelberg/Gallus, Lombardi, Mark Andy, SMAG and UPM.
Labelexpo tried to follow the industry'south expansion into flexible packaging by providing a rather minor space to demonstrate three flexible packaging configurations with digital presses from HP Indigo and Xeikon and a hybrid printing from Bobst, backed up with systems, software, and materials from Apex, AVT, Dupont, Esko, Flintstone, GEW, the UV-Foodsafe Group, and X-Rite Pantone.
Still, on the exhibition flooring, nearly press manufacturers and converting and finishing mechanism suppliers showcased presses geared at larger webs and other flexible packaging requirements, fifty-fifty though the substrate manufacturers at the evidence focused on label stock rather than anything else.
We will provide a more detailed recap on Labelexpo's exhibits in our November result.
